Ansen Tan is a junior at Skyline High School, enrolled in the IB diploma system. Ansen enjoys learning about Chinese and Taiwainese culture and wants to use his knowledge
and leadership skills to benefit WAACE. Ansen is very involved with leadership both within his school and outside, he is a director in his school's Club Med, tutors children, andis principal clarinet in his district's orchestra. He spends some of his free time rapping and you can find his songs under the alias "Lil Bit".

Sicheng (Jeffrey) Wang - Co-Vice President

Kimberly is a junior at Skyline High School. She is a part of the school FLCC Club and participates in local musicals. In addition to singing, Kimberly is currently composing a piece for Skyline High School's Orchestra. Kimberly also enjoys drawing, while also studying German and Chinese.

Santtu Sibakov - Treasurer

Santtu is an IB diploma candidate at Skyline High School. He is from Finland and has lived abroad for 16 years. He is an active member in the IB Chinese classroom at and loves to help other students learn the language. Outside of school he works as a ski instructor at Snoqualmie during the winters and loves to play a wide variety of sports during his free time.  At school, he shows his dedication through his quality work.

Helen Yin is currently a junior IB Diploma Candidate attending Skyline High School. She spent a year in China with her grandparents as a child and that experience has shaped her ever since. Helen is very passionate in learning Chinese, both the language and culture, and has participated in multiple Chinese activities and festivals. She enjoys spending her free time hanging out with friends, volunteering around the community, engaging in various school clubs, playing tennis, and participating in leadership within her school, as she has been the secretary for her class council for two years.

Helen is very active in public speaking and debating, being a part of her school's DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) club as well as JSA, (Junior State of America)  where she recently earned a Best Speaker Gavel for her debate on school zones. She wishes to use her experience and expertise in pubic speaking and leadership to benefit WAACE.

Sicheng Wang is a senior IB Diploma Candidate currently attending Skyline High School. As an immigrant, Sicheng moved to the US when he was in elementary school. This mix of cultures allowed him to develop his perspective on our society at a young age. Throughout high school, Sicheng has volunteered around the community, translating for others who recently immigrated to the US. This year, Sicheng is serving as the president of Skyline Chinese Language and Culture club. With this club, he is able to build connections with others who are also passionate about the language and culture of China. During his free time, Sicheng enjoys keeping fish and educating others about his exotic pets and plans to major in fishery sciences in college.

Roy Liu is an IB diploma candidate in his junior year of highschool at Skyline High School.

Daniel MacRae is a senior IB Diploma Candidate at Skyline High School. He is half Dutch and half Scottish, he has lived in Beijing for three and a half years, between sixth grade and ninth grade, and has ever since continued studying Chinese. Outside of his classes, Daniel is also a secretary and one of the founders of Global Studies Club. During his free time, he is either playing football (soccer…) or working on his renowned photoshopping abilities.

Eric Xiang is an IB diploma candidate in his junior year at Skyline High School. Eric is very found of his culture and heritage, learning Chinese from
a very young age and attending his local Chinese school for over 7 years as well as taking IB Chinese. He is known by his friends as very charismatic and works well with his teammates.
Eric has traveled to China multiple times and has gotten to experience Chinese culture to its finest, and he wishes to bring that experience to others through WAACE.
He has extensive experience with leadership as he is currently the treasurer for the Skyline Rocketry Club as well as tutoring children. In his free time, Eric enjoys
playing with his dog, Fluffy.
