Washington Association for American and Chinese Education

THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE WHY LEARN CHINESE 2018 COMPETITION! We had over 400 submissions internationally, spanning from Bellevue, Washington all the way to West Hartford, Connecticut and Shanghai, China!

Congratulations to our winners-- we sincerely hope you utilize your knowledge to continue bettering the Chinese community.

Our awards ceremony was held at the Central Washington University in Sammamish, Washington, on February 10th, 2018. We were so fortunate to have been joined by over 2000 attendees and co-sponsored by the Sammamish City Council, Confucius Institute of the State of Washington, Chinese Radio Seattle, China Tomorrow Education Foundation, Little Masters Club, and the Chinese Language Teachers Association of Washington! The event included 16 activity booths ran by Sammamish students, and over 30 performances.

Thank you again to all of our participants, volunteers, and parents for making this year's WLC Competition one to remember. We will take this event to greater heights next year! Look forward to your participation again.

We wish you a healthy and happy Year of the Dog!
